Mutt Slayer
The Antec 1200 has rubber bumpers that keep the power supply about 1/4 to 3/8" from the bottom of the case. (guessing distance from memory). I've had the fan facing up to give it the best airflow but would rather have it facing downward to increase cable length and cable management. Is that enough room below the psu to give airflow to the fan? Or, should I cut a hole in the bottom of the case? This is the Hk-1000W supply. Thank you for your replies. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 14, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 14, 2009 As long as there is space for the fan to pull air from then you should be fine. Even with a 1/4 inch that should be enough space to mount the PSU with the fan facing down.
