fireforsin
i just purchased a pair of memory sticks. the model number is TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX. they are a pair of 2GB sticks equaling 4GB total. i did i search on the corsair website before i bought them and these were a pair that had come up under the compatible for this motherboard section. the only problem is, all i see is 2GB!! i installed the two sticks, BIOS reads them as 4GB but says only 2GB is appropriated and available. when in window it says that only 2GB is in the system. my question is, what is wrong? lol. why is it recognizing the memory but not letting me use it all. thanks in advance, mike forgot to add, i am using windows xp will all current updates and the newest BIOS.
