susik89
Have you guys ever considered step up program like evga ? :P
Wired
BFG Tech does it (ergo swapping my 280s for 285s whenever they get back to me), thought EVGA didn't do it.
susik89
I was thinking about corsair doing it. Like if someone had 700w psu and wanted to upgrade to 1000w. He would just send his 700w psu to corsair and pay the price difference between his psu and 1000w one :)
Wired
For those that aren't familiar with these types of programs, you can upgrade the part within x # of calendar days of purchase. BFG it's 100 days.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 9, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 9, 2009 AT this time we do not have a process available to change RMA's to another part number unless the part in question is no longer available, sorry!
FEAR6655
That kind of scheme is far more effective on things like GPU's, as most poeple use to upgrade to a newer card if they are released. Power supplies change very seldom. My advice would be make sure what you get is what you want.
