Rambler
Hi, I was previously running 4 x 1Gb of the Corsair 6400C4 RAM. These were bought as two TWIN2X2048-6400C4 kits populating all of the 4 ram slots. The ram ran stable under bios 2001 under 4-4-4-12-22-2T at DDR2800Mhz at 2.1v. I even ran a EPP profile of high performance without any problems. I flashed to the latest 2205 bios which created major issues with ram stablity so I flashed back to 2001. Since then I haven't been able to get a stable system. I get lockups in windows and the every morning when I switch the PC on for work I get a freeze on the BIOS screen and it wont post. I usually have to take a stick of ram out and put it back in to post. Ive tried running the ram in the following configurations and all results in problems. - default settings - default settings with 2.1v - default with EPP - manual 4-4-4-12 and 5-5-5-18 with 2.1v - manual 4-4-4-12 and 5-5-5-18 with EPP Ive attached some CPU-Z screen grabs if that can assist anyone http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/9036/11754273.th.jpg
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 8, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 8, 2009 With 4 modules you will have to run the memory at DDR333/667 and I would suggest setting the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts an leave the timings set to AUTO with 2T Command Rate.
