TWIN2X2048-6400C4 and TWIN2X4096-6400C5 G question

first of all i ve TWIN2X2048-6400C4(2GB kIT)

Working on cross hair mother board

ati all in wonder 2006 vga

amd athlon x2 5200+ processor

 

and its great ,i want to buy TWIN2X4096-6400C5(4gb kit), so the total will be 6GB

 

but would it be possile to run both at the same time

cause i read that the one i have is 4-4-4-12 and the other 5-5-5-18

 

my mother board has 4 ram slots also supports up to 8gb

Set timings to 5-5-5-18 and memory voltage to 2.1v before you install the new ones and all four sticks should work together.

The one that i already have i set it to 4-4-4-12 and its 2gb kit , so do u think when i install the new one (4gb kit ) i should change all to 5-5-5-18 even the (2gbkit)?

Timings in the BIOS are not per stick, they're for all of the memory. Also note that it's not recommended to mix memory of different sizes / timings / ICs. You'll most likely have to drop the speed to 667.

 

You'll most likely get better performance running just the TWIN2X4096-6400C5.

THANKS for explnation but can u tell me how it will be best performance if i used 4 gb more than if i used 6gb ?and how to drop speed from 800 to 667?
