riffer
I have the TR3X6G1600C8D and I am trying to use it with the ECS X58B-A. Still early days, but I can get the system to boot and run okay at 1333 with manual settings. Unfortunately, I can't get it come out of suspend properly at these settings. 1600 is a total no-go. Using SPD, the ECS board appears to see the XMP profile, but sets DIMM voltage at over 1.7V, rather than the 1.65V spec. It won't boot into Windows with this setting. Maybe someone is further along than me? System specs in profile. Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 3, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 3, 2009 I would try another make of MB or ask ECS if they have a newer MB BIOS.
riffer
I took another approach and just overclocked the 920 to 167 FSB. Memory comes up fine and stable at 668 (1336) MHz 8-8-8-19. I'll try to get it to 1600 when I have more time.
