RandallSyntax
My comp right now is running with only one stick of the TwinX1024-3200PT right now. Why? Cause my machine won't post if I use the other stick! I have the latest F12 BIOS for the board, and I've tried using both sticks in every conceivable DIMM position. I know it isn't the memory, since each stick works fine by themselves. What actually happens is that the computer POSTs fine with one stick, but when the other is added, the POST stops right after it sees the CPU and never gets to the RAM. I've tried going to Gigabyte's tech support, but they have been so far unresponsive.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 19, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 19, 2004 I am sorry to here that! I would however, try updating your bios to the latest version if possible. In addition, if each module will pass www.memtest86.com one up but the system will not run with both installed, that would suggest a MB problem. If that is the case, I would try the reseller and see if they will help you get the MB replaced!
