Corsair TX650w too loud! help

I believe I read somewhere that Corsair PSUs were known for being fairly quiet.

This thing pushes a lot of air which is a good thing but the noise omg...This thing is really loud, too loud. It's really aggravating me. Is there a fan speed cable I forgot to plug or something? Please tell me there's a solution :o:

PS: My room temperature is like 24C, CPU temp 32C. Great air circulation in my case too...It seems like the fan is stuck at full RPM or something.

First, I would try this basic PSU functionality test and see if the PSU does the same thing when its not connected to the motherboard. If you get the same problems with the running at full blast on its own then lets get it replaced. You can use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”

However if the unit turns on and the fan remains at low speed, then you may have some other problem, and I would test the PSU in a different system to see if you can duplicate the same issues.
