Hey guys!!

I have 12GB 1866MHz,I've tried all steps mentioned in the forum but after I reboot it, I cannot turn the pc on! I can only work with it when I load default values. I also want to have the maximum performance of my 1866MHz RAM , how I can make it?

Need your help urgently..

With 6 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR1600 or DDR1333 and set the memory Voltage to 1.66 Volts and set the QPI Voltage to +.1.6 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.

Download Memtest86+ V2.11 from--->

and extract the ISO image. Burn the ISO image to an CD-ROM disk.

Download CPU-z from
.

Try and see if you can make the grade. Insert a single tri channel set into slot 2, 4, and 6. Enter BIOS and set to XMP. Reboot and test boot, enter BIOS and set your personalized CPU settings, etc. Then shut down and insert the second set in slot 1, 3, and 5. Run Memtest for two full passes. When assured of stable DRAM, then enter Windows and Run CPU-z and post screenshots of CPU-z's CPU, Memory and SPD tabs. There's no guarantee of 1866 with two kits and you may have to drop the speed to 1600Mhz when doubling the memory capacity. It is dependent on the quality of the CPU Memory controller.
