Status of RMA

Case # 888640

 

I have checked the status page and it has yet to be updated. Is there any possible chance of getting a update? Little frustrated as I am without my Main PC and not sure when I will get my PSU back. The status page has not updated since I started the RMA. Only update has come from thie email below.

I have sent them a email and asked them to check this but its best if you call them.

I am sorry we can no longer check RMA status in Tech Support; please call our customer service at 888-222-4346 or 510-657-8747 Ext “3” or send them an email (rmaservice@corsairmemory.com) with your RMA# and ask them for the status!

I have the same situation. I am using my partner's computer at the moment. I read through everything before sending in my PSU and expected same day or next day turn around based on the RMA information here at Corsair. I took a few days off (I use my PC for work). I paid 26 dollars to send it back to Corsair only to find that they will be sitting on it for a few days. If I would have known, I would have just bought a new part before sending off the faulty one to Corsair. This would have saved a lot of downtime. I recieved the e-mail after they got the part and had no knowledge before hand.

 

It's a shame to have an entirely new computer without a vital component. Very frustrating. I would have paid extra for cross shipping. Unfortunately, I live in a place where I cannot just go down and get a cheap PSU while I wait. I paid for the best so that I would not have these issues but here we are.
