5ky
Hi. I'm currently running a corsair 620HX psu and I just ordered a 1000hx psu which should arrive on monday. Since both power supplies are made by corsair, and both are modular, can I just unplug all the modular wires and hook the new 1000hx right in place or will I have to rewire the entire case with the wires that come with the 1000hx? I hope I made that clear enough, thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 16, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 16, 2009 The cables are NOT interchangeable and will damage your components if you try to swap them. Use the new cables with the new PSU.
