skell
Hi there I've recently built a PC for a friend, and for it I bought some Corsair CM2X2048-6500C5 RAM. Unfortunately, the system wouldn't POST, and I've narrowed it down to one of the modules. I have determined this by putting one module in at a time, and trying to boot the system. It POST's with one of the modules, but not the other. I have also tried it in my own PC which also would not POST with this module in it. I've read under the warranty section of the website that you have to send both modules to Corsair, even if only one is faulty. Also, it appears that I will have to send them to America, rather than to somewhere in Europe (I live in the UK). Is this correct? Is there any way around this, as I fear my friend maybe without his PC for a prolonged period if this is the case. Many thanks for your help skell
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 16, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 16, 2009 Let's get them replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them. And yes you will need to send the pair and no they will most likely have them sent to and from our Hub in Europe.
