ralphf926
I just purchased a tx850 PSU and will mount it in a cooler master cm 690 case. The PSU for this case mounts at the bottom. Is there a preferred way to orient the PSU, up or down?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 11, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 11, 2009 The PSU can be mounted in any orientation, just if you mount it with the Fan exposed make sure you do not drop a screw in the PSU when you are assembling the system. Synthohol
Great tip!! btw, ive put a green scotch-brite pad over my fans in the past to collect incoming dust (or falling screws) and real easy to clean! they don't impair airflow more than 2-3% i imagine but can save the life of the components they cool from preventing a lint coating:) http://www.bettymills.com/store/images/product/small/PAD196.JPG
