rekd0514
I ordered a CORSAIR Flash Voyager 16GB Flash Drive Model CMFUSB2.0-16GB from Newegg back in September and always noticed it didn't seem as fast as it should be. I got curious a few days ago and decided to search google and found the forum. I have searched for issues other people have with the same drive and tried your fixes to no avail. I got it formatted in X: in FAT32 like you tell most people and I still have under spec speeds. I am using the newest version of HDBench on their site and got around these numbers every time. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 6, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 6, 2009 Please try and format the drive with the Format utility from the SD-CARD Organization. Then run the test again and see if that helps. Please try the HD-Bench software to test the performance with a 100 MB File size. The write should be about 8 MBps and read should be about 23-30MBps. If you still have problems we can get it or them replaced, please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
