ggeilian
I've just finished a re-build with my profile items and appear to be unable to run both sticks of RAM. One stick runs ok in DIMM A1, the other won't even post in the same slot, the same happens when I try the second stick in DIMM B1 with the ok stick in A1 and also when I swap both around. Can you please give me some settings as I don't mind having a delve into the bios. I have currently got the timings at 5-5-5-15 (however CPU-Z shows 15 as 18??) and the DRAM voltage at 2.2v. The NB voltage is at 1.3v, should I increase this? I have also upgraded the MB bios to 1805 ver. I had hoped to be able to run both at the advertised setting of 1066MHz. Just so we are clear, are you saying you have 1 module that will not allow the system to post at all in any slot?
ggeilian
Yes, that's correct. Have tried suspect module in all 4 slots. Result, no post, beep etc.

ggeilian
Just a quick note to say thankyou to everyone involved in sorting my problem. I received a brand new pair of modules the other day. Installed the units and everything seems fine with memory running at advertised ratings. Excellent service, thanks again.
