FreonStud
I bought an ASUS M4A79T Deluxe motherboard and a 3 pack of Corsair TR3X3G1600C8DG DDR3 memory. After reading the motherboard manual it says that 1gb,2gb,or 4gb can be installed. 4 gb requires 64 bit vista.Am I going to have an issue with installing three sticks? Fill both orange slots and the black slot with the other stick? (recommends orange slots for overclocking). Thanks.
Wired
Guaranteed-Compatible Memory for your Asus M4A79T Deluxe Get a 2 stick pack instead. More memory and for around the same price.
FreonStud
I just found out that's not the right memory anyway. That was for an X58 board. Thanks anyway.

Wired
Original post restored. This issue has come up before and I'm sure it will come up again. Best to leave it up so that others searching the forum will find it and find their answer instead of asking the same question.
