HakanTURK
I have read the sticky about mailing jackflash@corsairmemory.com to get replacement cables but since the thread offers no other information than the email address and searching the forums I find mostly answers like "please email jackflash@corsairmemory.com" and no more. I decided to post my questions here. I have emailed jackflash@corsairmemory.com with a request for replacement cables on the 29th of january this year but have not gotten a reply yet. I have managed to break the plastic connectors on a few of the cables that came with my psu, most importanly one of the pcie power cables, one of the small metal plugs in the connector on the end that goes into the psu itself got bent and buckled inside the connector making it impossible to insert all the way. Now that i am getting a second gfx card i need 2 functioning cables however i cannot find them anywhere. My questions are 1. Will the replacement cables cost me anything, if so, how much? 2. I do not live in the usa, will jackflash@corsairmemory.com still provide them for me, if not where else can i get these cables? 3. Replacing the broken cable i described is one thing however i would like to have some more sata power cables aswell, no broken cables there, I simply would like to be able to connect hdd's without converters. If replacing the broken cable for free, is it possible to get extras at the same time? Will the extras cost me anything? Thanks in advance. /Niklas
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 4, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 4, 2009 You may just need to pay for the shipping cost of the cable, they can send them pretty much anywhere as far as I know. The cables are not sold separately, however if you need extras they can usually provide them for you. To check the status of your request or additional information, please contact our customer service at 888-222-4346 and dial "0", (510) 657-8747 or email rmaservice@corsairmemory.com. HakanTURK
I was a bit worried as i never got an email reply from jackflash@corsairmemory.com or rmaservice@corsairmemory.com but today a letter containing the cables i needed arrived at my doorstep. If anyone is interested it was sent from the netherlands and not only did they replace the broken cables, i also got the extra i wanted for absolutely free. Once again corsair does offer great service, keep up the good work. Thanks. /Niklas
