SundaY82
Hello, I bought a TWIN2X4096-6400C5 kit to put on my Asus M3N78-AM mb. The problem I have is that memtest gives a couple of errors when I use both modules. I tried to use only one module and then memtest didn't report any errors, tested the other and that one was fine as well. I also tried both memory slots on the mb(only two available) and both was fine. I then tried to increase the memory voltage from 1.85 to 1.9 and 1.95, didn't help. So I increased the chipset voltage with +50mV. That didn't help either. Does anyone have an idea what I should try? More memory voltage? More chipset voltage? One thing I will try my self after lunch is to update mb bios if there are any newer, but suggestions on how to proceed are appreciated.
SundaY82
Upgraded bios to latest version and kept settings at 1.95 & +50mv, now after two passes memtest runs without any errors.
