justintt
I am building my first computer. I have a Corsair TX 750 W as my power source. My MB is a Asus M3A78-T. Nvidia G260, 640 gig....., In-Win F430 case (fire red)....... My confusion lies with the 24 PIN EATXPWR versus the 4 PIN ATX 12V. Do I need both? My brother says yes or it wont boot properly. The directions that came with the 750 say otherwise but still don't seem exact to me. I did find an 8 pin end that could be split to make 2 4pin connectors. Should it be split to fit the ATX 12V? Or should I just use the 24 PIN. Any help is appreciated. Justin
FEAR6655
You must use both, and yes you do split the 8 pin to make a 4 pin.
justintt
Thanks for the input. I will pug it in a fire the machine up. I am sure I will be back with BIOS questions. And you'll notice, no system specs this time. I am learning.
