mech259
I have the Flash Voyager, 16gb, and was trying to copy a 7 gb file to it. It keeps saying :Drive Is full" and will not let me copy to it when the drive is empty. I have XP home with NTFS. Why can't I copy the file to it? I uninstalled drive and reinstalled it. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 26, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 26, 2009 In the OS, check the drive properties and see what capacity and usage the drive is showing. You can also try this if your drive is not showing 16GB capacity. It could simply be a partitioning error. http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62742
mech259
The drive shows 15g of free space and 32kb of used space. I tried the format program you suggested from Panasonic, but that didn't work. I did not get any utility program with the Flash Voyager. Is there supposed to be one? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 26, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 26, 2009 That is a File size limitation with Fat32 the Maximum file size is about 3.6 Gig. You would have to format the drive to NTFS to copy large files to the Flash Drive.
