Manually Set Timings and Voltage:

I have found Command Rate to be stable at 1T (aka 1N on some boards). QPI / Uncore Voltage Override has been stable at 1.15v on this particular CPU. You may need to go as high as 1.35v and this will depend on each individual CPU.

Would these settings also work for XMS TR3X6G1600C7 ? I'm also having the reboot issue with this board (lights and fans spin up but not boot, pull power for 10 seconds and it boots fine) and I'm trying to troubleshoot.

Thanks in advance.

Not by setting them manually no, the settings are not the same. Try clearing the BIOS, boot to BIOS, and select the XMP profile.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm overclocking to 150Mhz, so with the memory multiplier at 12 (XMP profile) that cranks it (to 1800).

What I'm running now is the XMP profile but the multiplier knocked down from 12 to 10 (1500Mhz). So the memory should be 'underclocked'. And I'm having the odd behavior at boot.

Also, what about the command rate and QPI voltage? Leave them at XMP settings?

Hello Every one,

After following the instruction of tweaking the Corsair ram in order to make it run on 1600 instead of 1334mhz, system failed to boot completely without the option of accessing the BIOS, it just starts with black screen and restart and it keep doing the same till i power it off.

I did hard reset for the BIOS by removing the battery for an hour and after several reboots attempts system worked again :o:

Questions,

1- Can these Rams functions as it intended to? especially with the hardware i have (please see below Hardware)

2- What went wrong? Bios is updated to the last firmware. Profile pre-existed in the BIOS which may indicate that it's supported. Hardware is compatible as far as i know with each other. Mother board clock speed can support more then this speed. So what is the conflict which lead to such issue? and can it damage the hardware if i ever attempted to do this again?

I guess similar problem was reported by other member in this article. Something is wrong, may it be the Video Card since it's using DDR5?
