REBORNHOLY
Hey guys, I have left the Intel Motherboard at its standard defaults and previously had a stick of Asus DDR3 1333 single 1gb, and operated perfectly. A few days back i installed 2 x CM3X2048-1333C9DHX (4gig) and every few hours it BSOD and says bad_pool_caller. Have ensured that the ram is installed in the black ram channels on the board. Do you need to manually configure the ram settings in the board to have this ram operate stabiliy if so, what are those configuration settings ? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 23, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 23, 2009 Please make sure that you have the latest bios and load setup defaults and then set the memory Voltage to 1.7 Volts then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org to be sure one is not failing. If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test. You can get the tested settings from the link in my signature.
