16GB Voyager

Recommended Posts

I have a 16GB Voyager that thinks it's a 7.5GB. I've had this issue for a while (among others), and it's been a terrible flash drive, and I just replaced it with another brand. I would like to save this Voyager though, as it was $90+ when I purchased it somewhere around a year ago.

I've tried using the Gparted LIVE CD to delete the partition, but nothing sees more than 7.5GB of free space to create a new partition in. Does anyone know of any way that I can get something to see the full 16GB to create the partition? Are there any utilities I can run on it to check it and see if there are damaged memory cells?

I would believe that the model number of the drive is FMB7A0016
