toobad
I have 2 sets of these and I am getting mulitple errors with Memtest on all of them. Corsair Twin2X2048-6400 2GB Kit DDR2-800 XMS2 Xtreme. I have changed slots and removed some, but always put the matchings sets together and still errors. How do I RMA all of them? I purchased one set from ZipZoomFly and the other from NewEgg. Thanks
Wired
Reset the BIOS, put in the appropriate timings / voltage, and test one stick at a time in the same slot using Memtest86+ v2.11. It's almost impossible to have 2 sticks go bad at the same time let alone 4. That would generally indicate something else is the issue, or your karma just sucks :)
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 20, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 20, 2009 In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
