pandorla1984
hi supporter, my TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF can't work fine with MSI P45 Platinum. you can see my spec in profile. the two module can't be pluged as dual channel. the system will not boot and the board gives me a red-green-red-red debug light which means memory check error. i flash the latest bios for the MB, but even worth, the 1.4 and 1.5 bios have problem with my processor (Q8200), so I choose the 1.3 version as the latest workable version of my MB. i can use these memeories on my other MB(p35), so i think the memories is ok. i have tried to search the form or google for solutions and tried some, but they all not worked. i need your instructions about how to use this type of memory on my MB. Thanks.

Insert a single stick of DRAM into the second slot (closest to the CPU). Boot to the Memtest CD and allow for two full passes. If you pass, then shut the system down and insert the same stick in the fourth slot. Retest. If both sticks pass, then insert one in slot 2 and one in slot 4. Retest. Results?
