Phenom is wonky with 1066Mhz. Many can not reach it with stability. You can try by inserting these values:

DRAM Configuration

Memory Voltage = 2.1v
Memory Clock Frequency = 1066Mhz
Tcl = 5
tRCD = 5
tRP = 5
tRAS = 15
1T/2T Memory Timing = 2T
Memory Hole Remapping = Enabled

CPU voltage = Auto
SLi Ready Memory = Disabled

I have already done that

first time with 2 ram sticks in slot 1a and 2a

second time with 1 ram stick in slot 1a

third time with the other stick in slot 2a

but no errors..

Then your issue is external to the memory. Firstly I would test for spyware.

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Download, update and run this program. Remove all, if any, malware. If that does not help, then have you used a Preinstallation environment before? This will allow you to test if the issue is software related. Basically it is a Windows XP envronment run directly and exclusively from the CD. If you run this environment and find that the issues you have do not occur, then you can determine the issue to be software related and a fresh OS installation is required.

http://minipe.org/

Download the MiniPE Updated ISO (20 AUG 2008) and burn the image to a CD. Password = thecavern Boot to the CD and allow the interface to fully load. Use the interface to open and close programs without making any real changes.

If you can operate the environment without freezes, then you need to reinstall Windows.

It's better now but some programs still causes freezes like avg and world of warcraft ( opening and closing).
Check your Windows Event Viewer and see if there are any errors listed related to these freezes. This could be OS or software related.

Then you could very well have a hard drive issue. MiniPe runs through the CD and since you had no freezes with it, the hard drive could very likely be the issue.

Install a new OS on a new drive. Use your drive manufacturers software to create a boot CD to trouble shoot the drive.

I've reinstalled windows xp but the freezes are still there...:(:

I've found the problem..

Sandboxie and zonealarm security suite are causing the freezes

When i shut down zone alarm i don't have the freezes..

neither when i shut down sandboxie.

But when i have them running both then they wil cause the freezes.

Now i need to find a way to get sandboxie + zonealarm security suite working together.

Thanks for your help :biggrin:
