rich4psu
I was wondering if you needed to put the 8-pin additional mobo power connector in the motherboard to test the voltages, as this is not giving 12V as i believe it should unconnected (probes are too thick to test while connected). All the other power seems to be working properly, fans, 24-pin etc. Need to know if its a mobo or PS issue.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 12, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 12, 2009 Here is a guide that may help you test the voltages. What types of problems were you having that made you want to test the PSU? Does the system boot up at all?
rich4psu
The bios wont even post and the mobo wont display any sort of error code on the on-board seven segment displays. when i remove the 8-pin and just use the 24-pin, the mobo gives the correct FF error code on the SSDs. Fans work and most of the LEDs light up however, in both configs.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 13, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 13, 2009 I would test the TX750 in a different system to make sure you get the same issues, and if all else fails then lets get it replaced! You can use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
