Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 11, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 11, 2009 Yes that memory will work. However, I am not sure what you are saying about our memory finder. If it is not effective, we'd like to improve it. Here are the results I got for your motherboard: http://www.corsairmemory.com/configurator/product_results.aspx?id=589456
globo
I just had trouble understanding if the memory was compatiable in a ( 2 x 1gb) kit. I have the dual kit and one stick went bad and I wanted to make sure I had the correct memory. thanks
globo
Actually the corsair memory configurator is great. It is more that somtimes motherboard companies don't always have the same information.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 11, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 11, 2009 Actually the corsair memory configurator is great. It is more that somtimes motherboard companies don't always have the same information. Most MOBO QVL lists are generated before the motherboard is released. And, they are not frequently updated after release. It's very difficult for a MOBO company to test a large amount of memory. However, we do test a large number of MOBOs and keep our lists as up to date as possible.
Wired
CM2X1024-6400C5DHX is not listed on the Configurator because those sticks are not sold one at a time, only in pairs. The part # for the KIT (TWIN2X2048-6400C5DHX) is indeed listed on the configurator.
