Searchman9
I'm getting a blank screen when maxed to 4GB. Works with 3GB(single channel mode). Tried pulling battery from bios and have the latest bios version. What can I do to make it work with 4GB?:sigh!: Intel D915PCY LGA 775 Intel 915P ATX Intel Motherboard ATI Radeon X800XL 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Intel Pentium 4 560J Prescott 3.6GHz LGA 775 Single-Core APEVIA 550W ATX12V v2.03 Power Supply

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 27, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 27, 2009 Also, does your motherboard BIOS allow you to adjust the memory voltage and the memory controller voltage?
Searchman9
TWIN2x2048-8500C5D On the stick: CM2X1024-8500C5D VER1.5 I bought 2 sets of 2 x 1GB = 4GB I looked in the bios setup and found Advanced chipset configuration there is a burn-in mode memory SDRAM control with options auto manual-Aggressive manual-user defined SDRAM Frequency (533) SDRAM tCL - CAS Latency (4.0) SDRAM tRCD - RAS-to-CAS Delay (4) SDRAM tRP - RAS Pre-charge (4) SDRAM tRASmin - RAS Activate-to-Precharge Min (12) There is also a CPC Override I couldn't find anything for memory voltage. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 29, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 29, 2009 With that MB and 4 modules DDR667 would be suggested and if you cannot set the memory Voltage there is little chance that two modules will run at DDR1066 let alone
Searchman9
Hate to say it, but I used the corsair's memory configurator to buy this memory. The memory is non-returnable. So does corsair trade memory for the one's that will work for my mb? If not does anybody know of a place I can trade memory? I did another memory search on their website and found a different outcome. Now it tells me DDR2-533/DDR2-667. Interesting.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 30, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 30, 2009 I am sorry but this motherboard has never been validated to run any XMS or OCing type memory due to the lack of voltage adjustments in the BIOS. Here is the result from our memory finder: http://www.corsairmemory.com/configurator/product_results.aspx?id=3895 We cannot offer an exchange as we did not sell the memory. Have you asked your retailer to assist you?
