Sizomu Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Hi Everyone, Which PSU should I get? how many Watts do I need? I am planning to upgrade my system, but I am not sure which PSU. I have tried all PSU calculators on the Net and all come out different. (even the one from Corsair) This is my Current system: Windows® Vista™ Ultimate 32bit Gigabyte™ EP35-DS3R Intel® E8400 @ 3.0ghz 2 x 2GB DDR2 800mhz 5-5-5-15 EVGA® 9800GX2 SSC @ 700/1700/1050 Samsung® F1 750GB Corsair® TX650W SLI™ Acer® P241W @ 1920 * 1200 This will be my Upgrade: Windows® Vista™ Ultimate 32bit MIS™ X48C Platinum Intel® Q9650 @ 3.6ghz (over clock) 2 x 2GB DDR3 1333mhz 6-6-6-24 EVGA® GTX285 + EVGA 9800GTX+ as Physics card Samsung® F1 750GB Corsair® ???W SLI™ Acer® P241W @ 1920 * 1200 As u can see, I have 2 different GPU's, which will work together but not in SLI™. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 28, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 28, 2009 With two of those cards not running in SLI I would assume that you could not pull 100% of their rated power at the same time, so I would suspect that the TX650 would be fine, but you may want to get Nvidias take on it.
