cpuz and x58 platinum bios write an INCORRECT model of ram @1066mhz but my ram work at 1600mhz (set by me in bios 6X).

i read CM3X1G1600C8D INSTEAD OF MY TR3X3G1600C8D - 1066MHZ SPEED (534MHZ) ARE NOT THE RIGHT FREQUENCY FOR MY RAM I NEED 1600(800) MHZ

HELP ME PLEASE - I THINK THIS IS A BIOS ERROR OR WHAT?

NEED I TO REFRESH MY BIOS (NOW IS 1.1)? SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH

THANK YOU

i hope i only need to activate xmp setting and dram moltiplier to 6x

do you agree?

It depends. Motherboard BIOS implimentations of XMP is very new and as such can be far more problematic than setting manually. I have had issues getting XMP working properly on many boards and tested with many different XMP enabled DRAM modules, it is not the fault of the DRAM manufacturer. It is the fault of XMP Because of this, rarely use XMP settings or any other "easy" tweaks. I set manually. If you find issues with XMP implimentation, just post back here and we will help you with the manual settings.

Plug and Play? More like Plug and Pray :D:
