buddy3
Hi All I just bought an asus P4C800-E Deluxe motherboard and the Corsair memory they said to use for overclocking was CMX512-3500C2. I can not seem to find this memory on the site. Has it been discontinued and is there other memory from Corsair that will work in this motherboard for overclocking? Thanks for any help. Paul
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 13, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 13, 2004 I am sorry, as XMS3500C2 is no longer available; The IC's we used to make this module are no longer in production. Sorry! You can search like at www.pricewatch.com and see if a reseller might have stock. Or depending on the CPU speed you have, you might consider Twinx1024-3200LL or for extreme O.C. Twinx1024-4000 if you have a 2.4C or 2.6C CPU!
buddy3
My CPU is a 3.4 Ghz intel. Will that ram work with it? Thanks Paul
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 14, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 14, 2004 With 3.4 Ghz, I would suggest Twinx1024-3200LL as that CPU may not over clock as much as a slower CPU!
