TWIN2X4096-8500C5D v1.1 voltage?

Hi! I just bought some Dominators (DDR2 8500 C5, 2x2GB). The set is version 1.1. I wondered if someone could confirm for me that version 1.X Dominators need 2.2 volts to run stably, not just 2.1...They seem to be doing fine @2.1v for normal, low-stress stuff, but my rig crashed after 4 hours of Prime95 last night, and I'm looking for possible causes. Also, would anyone suggest raising FSB and/or SPP volts for these Doms (see below)? Thanks for any help!

BIOS:

1.3 FSB

1.4 SPP

2.1 DIMM (RAM unlinked)

edit: should have mentioned that label on RAM says 2.1v. However, someone directed me to some advice from the RAM Guy suggesting the 2.2v setting for version 1.X DDR2 8500c5d sticks:

CM2X1024-8500C5 (Single Modules) or TWIN2X2048-8500C5 (Twin Kit) version 1.xxx are Micron modules and need 2.2v. However, your modules are CM2X2048-8500C5 (Single Modules) or TWIN2X4096-8500C5 (Twin Kit) version 1.xxx are PSC modules and need 2.1v.

Download Memtest Version 2.11 from--->

and extract the ISO image. Burn the ISO image to an CD-ROM disk. Boot to the Memtest CD and allow for two full passes.

Results?

Thank you so much for reply! And you're right, they're CM2X2028...how did you know? I didn't really give you much info to go on (sorry).

Gotta wait a couple of hours to do memtest...really relieved to find this out. I really didn't want to use high RAM volts on my 780i. They're running great@1066.

You gave more than enough information.

(DDR2 8500 C5, 2x2GB)

Let us know how it goes. And yes, you do not want to overvolt the DRAM.
