Lavelle
Hey, I'm from Belgium so don't mind the bad english. A year ago I bought a HX520W. A month ago I decided to replace some cheap casecoolers with quiet ones. Now I can't stop noticing the bizar noise the PSUfan is making. It's like a cricket, or the fan needs to be oiled :p: I put a plastic pen against the center of the fan for a sec and the noise stopped. Ok, so I have some questions: Probably the PSU isn't broken, can I still get a replacement? Will the new one have the same problem ? What exactly is wrong with the fan ?? Do I need to contact the shop where I bought it, or fill in an online RMA directly? Kind regards :):
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 27, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 27, 2009 You can have the unit replaced with either your reseller or ourselves, whichever is more convenient for you. If you choose to have us replaced the unit for you, then please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
