harshalsarnobat Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 i bought corsair 8 GB flash voyager to my friend's birthday as a gift he loved the drive but its reading and writing speed is too low as per he uses vista on his dell laptop having usb 2.0,shows transfer speed for 30mb file is 1-2mb/s and its won't go beyond that we tried to format and tried again but it still speed was same as last time,i am using same type 8gb flash voyager for 2 years now it give speed up to 7-8mb/s,what happened to that usb drive. this speeds are normal to the drive????.do i need to down load formatting utility from any site plz send me a link. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 23, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 23, 2009 7-8 MBPs is about right for that drive but you can try the and format the drive with the Format utility from the SD-CARD Organization.
