davido
I've had the CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX for a little over a year and now the fan seems to have stopped working. The PSU still powers on and allows my computer to load into windows, but the fan doesn't spin at all. I think I might of had a faulty PSU ever since i first got it because when I turn on my computer, it suddenly shuts off after 2 seconds then turns back on. I don't have access to a second computer, so I wasn't able to test it out on another pc. Please help with any suggestions. :(:
JoeBob
If the fan isn't spinning anymore, it must be faulty in some way. You can power the PSU up without having it connected to a computer, follow this brief guide.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 6, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 6, 2009 If the fan does not move at all then we will want to replace the PSU for you. The fan should always spin, although it may spin fairly slowly in most instances. Please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
