TX750 PSU Fan @ full speed

Recommended Posts

Hi, i bought my Corsair TX750w for about 3 weeks, today, i left my pc on as always(24/7) and went out for about 1 hour whem i came back PSU Fan was running @ full speed with the pc idle, i tried to reboot, shut down and even unplug the power cord from PSU, but when i plug the power cord or switch the PSU buttom on it turns the fan on, even with the PC shutted down, when i turn the PC on it runs @ full speed always, ambient temperature it's about 20ºC as always.

I think it's something wrong the PSU, better RMA it?

I would recommend that you try the test outlined here, and see if you can duplicate the same issues when the PSU is not hooked up to the motherboard. If you have the same problem, then lets get the unit replaced, however if the issues go away, then you may want to test the PSU in a different system to make sure you do not have some other issue.

To have the PSU replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
