Hi to all,

I can't boot my system with a P5E and 2 sticks of 2 GB 6400C5 when I put both sticks (dual channel)... in single channel seem works fine.

Do you know if is ther an incompatibility?

BIOS is at 400 x 8 = 3600 MHz

DDR2 are in synchronous with the FSB (PC6400) at 5-5-5-18.

Can you help me? I have no solutions...:(:

I'm trying now but seems that also in single channel is difficult have a boot but after 2 or 3 reset the system boot... but in dual channel the system has never started...:sigh!:

There is no such thing as Dual Channel memory, as this is a property of the memory controller in how it handles memory. This is why you can place memory in different slot configurations on a motherboard and it will register as single or dual channel. In otherwords it's not a compatibility issue.

Test one stick at a time in each slot using Memtest86+. What timings / voltage is your memory currently set to?
