Gilmore Posted December 22, 2008 Share Posted December 22, 2008 Hi I just upgraded my RAM. I went from 2 x 1GB 667mhz to 2 x 2GB Twin XMS2 800mhz. BIOS and startup recognize 4 GB, but in Windows Vista only recognize 2GB, and scanners say that I have two 1Gb sticks installed. I put the memory in slots 1 and 3 (orange and green colored), that is dual channel. I think Vista could at least use 3 GB of RAM with my hardware, my graphig card is only 640MB. What can I do about this, andy BIOS settings or put the memory in different slots? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
