16 GB Flash Voyager corrupt

Hi, I bought a 16 GB Flash Voyager flash drive from newegg in August 08. I Planned to use it for storing large size files (>4gb) so I formatted it into NTFS. Now, after twice filling it to near capacity, the drive has died both times, telling me the drive is not accessible, the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. What I would like to know is :

1. Is it possible to recover my files? I haven't reformatted my flash drive yet in hope that I could recover my files.

2. What am I doing that keeps making my flash drive corrupt?

I am running Vista Ultimate 32 bit, 100gb hd 7200rpm, an Intel core 2 duo t7600 and an nVidia geforce GO 7950gtx. Thanks for any help.

First if you need to recover some data there are some third party utilities available that may help you if you have some data you need to recover from this site.

If you still have problems, lets get it replaced. Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
