jglot25
I am attempting to build a new AMD Athalon 64 3.4 GHz cpu with a MSI K8T800 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket 754 CPU, Model "K8T Neo-FIS2R motherboard. I was looking at the user guides and noticed that you picked the TWINX1024-3200C2 RAM for enthusiasts which is what I would be using considering I dont plan on over clocking my system. However, I did notice that this PDF guide was not updated since December of 2003. Which makes me wonder is there better ram to use for enthusiasts for this motherboard considering how old this PDF is?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 10, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 10, 2004 Actually there are a few choices to choose from: If you want 1.0 Gig of memory; and it to be as fast as possible. I would suggest Twinx1024-3200LL and use slots 1-3 and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and you should have a great system. Twinx1024-3200C2 will run well but at Cass 2.5-3-3-6 verses Cass 2-3-2-6 for XMS3200LL!
