Asus G50vt Laptop Memory Question

I just checked my laptop using CPU-Z to see if the over-clocking tool that Asus supplies was working. The CPU did overclock, but when I went to the memory tab I noticed that the Dram Frequency was at 440. I was under the impression that this gaming system was running DDR-2, running at 800. When I set the CPU to normal mode (no overclocking) it dropped slightly lower than 400, so I don't think it has anything to do with overclocking.

Could the lower than expected memory frequency be caused by the installed memory or do you think it has to do with bios?

I always use Corsair in my systems but see that you don't list my ASUS G50VT in your system memory check. Do you plan on supplying memory for this system?

Thanks,

Tom
