How do I syncronize my memory?

I've noticed in my BIOS there are settings for DRAM CLK Skew, which from what i have been reading, helps to make memory more in sync. Allowing to adjust Channel A and B to advance or delay ps. I guess what I'd like to know is, How does one determine these adjustments? Is there a theory or guide? Or is it just a series of tests that need to be performed?

The GTL/Skew settings are for highly overclocked system running with extreme water or better cooling systems and highly clocked CPU<-->Memory bandwidths.

I advise you to leave them alone.

However, if you decide to play around with these controls, then the more informed you are, the better. Please study (do not skim) these materials.
