tskeeter
I built a new system with Intel D875PBZ mb, 3g cpu, twinx 1024-3200C2PT mem, the spd is set to auto. I get 1 or 2 beeps at post. I do not get any errors running memtest86 & I have the latest bios update installed. Any ideas why it doesn't post correctly? Steve.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 8, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 8, 2004 Steve, I am sorry I don’t understand! Will the system post and run or pass www.memtest86.com? When you get these beeps; does the system still post and run normally? If the answer is yes to both questions, I would test the modules in another MB. Or you might try setting the timings manually to Cass 2-3-3-6 and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well if you have the option to set the Dim Voltage! In addition, if you have USB devices connected, you might try and disconnect them and see if that does not solve the issue. I would also suggest that you get the latest bios and well, if you have not done so!
