Hi, Can i get some advice on TWIN2X2048-8500C5D and some OC tips?!

Hi

 

as in title, I have a quad 9450 OC'ed to 3.2ghz and memory @ 1066mhz using ratio 8:6 atm...

 

I was wondering if i can get even tighter timing settings.. im running on these atm ( btw they're 100% stable and passed - intel burn test max temp 58°C)

 

ok here are my settings:

 

edit: i have 2x1024mb 8500C5D G v4.1 model...

so could you help me tweak ram some more or is this the best i can get.... and if possible could i OC my cpu a bit more?? i tried a few settings but i can't seem to get a stable post above 3.2ghz ( my bios is latest) - i tried to raise mch and skew clock control ( and voltage) without any success.

Enter your BIOS. On the main BIOS screen press Ctrl + F1. You will see the screen flicker. Next select the MB Intelligent Tweaker option. On that screen you will see many additional settings that were not there before.

tnx for reply, well i did play with some settings a bit, and got it stable at 3.4 ghz, it was Static tRead Value = 6 that was causing the problems, if i set it to 7 and leave all settings as they where, OC worked fine..

and it passed Intel burn test v1.8 - full stress (8 runs); got about the same temps as with 3.2ghz around 58C trough all 4 cores... but i was kinda disappointed cuz i didn't see much increase in memory bandwidth => due to Static tRead Value...

here is a shot but i tryed 1133mhz (which crashed Intel burn test later, so i lowered the multi back to 1063)

could i benefit more if i set fsb :ram ratio 1:1, because im back on 3.2 ghz atm and set my old settings ( ram 1066 with 5-5-5-12-3-3-6-53-3-6-auto-2t) and seemed the best as far as mem latency goes..

yo, i wasn't happy with 3.2ghz so i gave your settings a try and it worked, and i passed intel burn test:D

i gained around 600 points on cpu when i went form 3.2 to 3.6ghz (had 5330 before)

here on this picture is a memory and cache test and intel burn test, i also gained a bit so im happy :)

HI guys. . . i use same RAM . . on same Gigabyte X48 as you guys. .

I have tested your settings here But.. i allways get a blueScreen when i reboot.

Any tips? . . i can only get it run Vista in 2800mhz . .
