CoolRam Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 Hi all, I'm currently running 4G TWIN2X4096-6400C4D version 1.1 and my system detail has been updated on my sig. I thought I ask this question first before getting the additional 4G (2x2) on sell at newegg... TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX I have auto settings on my timings and pretty much everything. It's been running fine, reason for adding 4g more is that I'll be running more graphics and HD rendering intensive, and ....etc. I just want to know, if I can still run at stock speed 800mhz vs. 667mhz (5-5-5-15) when I have 8G populated. And for this particular set of memory, is there a new version as opposed to version 1.1 which i have. I just want to make sure the versions are matching if I decided to buy. Thank you for your help.
