My question: will this rig run stable with the standard timings of the TWINX2048? (I do not want to run tighter timings, just need 4GB RAM) Will it run at all? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 6, 2004 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 6, 2004 Yes! However, this system will not let the O.S. see more than about 3.0 Gig or memory. And WinXP will not cache more than 2.0 Gig for programs. So I would not suggest more that 2.0 Gig of memory. Unless; you will be running it with UNIX or a Server O.S.
