Likely Defective RAM

I bought two sticks of 1gb Corsair ValueSelect RAM (VS1GSDS667D2) for my Tecra M3 laptop. Recently, the laptop started blue-screening on boot. I ran MemTest86+ among a set of diagnostics and discovered that the ram was failing terribly.


I took out the first module, and re-ran the test. Once again it failed. I then swapped it with the second stick, and the test passed. For this reason, I believe one of the sticks is defective.


Last week, I tried e-mailing Corsair customer support but have not heard anything back. :( I was wondering if I can go through with the RMA process despite not hearing back from them.
