dalgo64
What are the optimum settings for this motherboard with these modules please? I have Intel E8500 Dual Core, Vista 64 and MSI (ATI) R4850 x 1. Bios for Asus P5Q3 Deluxe WiFi@N Rev. 1.0 is 1406.
DerekT
You have to perform a slight overclock of the CPU FSB to attain the necessary 1:1 ratio of CPU:DRAM. Drop the multiplier from 9.5 to 9 which will give you 3.6Ghz and the proper 1600Mhz DRAM speed due to the 400Mhz FSB. If you drop the multiplier to 8, then you will have 8 X 400 ~=3.2Ghz which is very close to the stock speed of the CPU. However, I would go with 9 X 400 = 3.6Ghz and which your CPU can do with stock CPU Voltage. Download Memtest86+ V2.01 from--->Here Download CPU-z from Here Download Real Temp from--> HereEnter your BIOS. Load Setup Defaults. Save Setup Defaults.
