easy8
I own an 8G Corsair Flash Voyager, it's been working OK until recently. The folder is empty with no files inside but it can only see 6.48GB for some reason. Properties reads: Capacity: 7.48GB Free Space: 6.48GB Used Space: 0.99GB Any chance there are hidden files in the folder? Is there a way to check or erase these hidden files? or better yet.... How can I recover the missing memory?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 27, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 27, 2008 Please try to format the drive from a command prompt with this syntax: Format (X:) /FS:FAT32 /U (X=the drive letter assigned to the Flash Voyager) And I would make sure that you empty the recycled bin first. easy8
Thanks RAM GUY, it seems to work OK and see all 8G after reformatting. easy8
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 31, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 31, 2008 If that happens again you might try and empty the recycled Bin first then format if that does not recover the total space.
